A fire clay putty is used at constructions and repairs of various smaller fireboxes linings. The bag content is being mixed with water in approx. ratio 5:1 to doughy compound and thoroughly kneaded. The damaged lining is moistured with water, then filled with the prepared putty and smoothed on its surface. Heat resistance up to 1350°C.

We use 0,5 l of hot water for 100 g sodium hydroxide. We will let it works for 30 min and after that we will rinse down it. For better effect we can repeat it.
